Built in 2002, the ten-storey Ha Long Post hotel is located on Ha Long Road, near the main post office, the restaurants and tourist attractions in Bai Chay. The Ha Long Post is a basic Vietnamese hotel offering 102 guest rooms. Rooms are clean but quite small with bland decoration, fittings and furniture. There are two restaurants at the hotel serving Vietnamese food at reasonable prices.

There is not much to expect from the hotel but its rate is quite reasonable for visitors on a tight budget.
